Someone else had the idea for this blog. Thanks for the inspiration. They reasoned that I did so much writing that my writing deserved its own blog. I didn’t doubt that I’d find something to write about writing. I write. It works that way. Looking at the top ten posts from 2024 points out that my writing isn’t confined to a niche. Here’s the short version of the topics:
ghost writing
photo essay
scifi
therapy
philosophy
screenplay
copyright
community
sales
Fiction and non-fiction. Process, philosophy, and pragmatism. Writing for me, for others, for readers. Film, books, and semi-journalism. Such is the life of a writer, not necessarily constrained, with a low hurdle to step over to cross from one topic to another. It can all seem disjointed. It is all writing.
- A New Gig – Island Roots Housing (ghost writing for an affordable housing non-profit)
- Ten Years Of Twelve Months On Whidbey Island (I completed a ten year photo essay of Whidbey Island’s shoreside nature)
- Fire Race Is Published (my second scifi novel is published!)
- Writing As Refuge (sometimes writing is for the writer)
- Why Write (sometimes writing is because someone might care)
- PTFilmFest 2024 (I wrote a screenplay. I guess I should go to a film festival)
- Library Of Congress – Fire Race (Let’s get official.)
- Authors Help Writers (Writers’ best resource is other writers, and authors too.)
- Old Books Live (Books can sell years after they’re published. Not giving up.)
- Screenplay Draft – Second Celebration – March 2024 (That screenplay has been edited into something more proper. Good.)
To readers, thanks for reading. To writers, thanks for writing. Simple enough?
