Firewatchers Sequel Begins Again – 010224

I’ve been aching to get back to working on the sequel to my first sci-fi novel, Firewatcher, a story about modern-day Luddites escaping Earth before it’s too late to avoid AIs and other threats. Trying to leave too late would be too bad.

Most of my books go through about ten drafts. This one is draft three. I hope to finish and publish by November. Do that math and realize how much work I have ahead of me. Ironically, I plan to use Grammarly to speed up some of the proofreading bits.

Now, time for a cup of tea. (And I wrote a book about tea, too. Kettle Pot Cup, a fundraiser for tea worker charities.)
